The Landis Co, Realtors The Landis Co. handles rentals in all of the Sea Isle City condominium buildings that are elevator equipped. In addition to the larger condominium complexes, we are finding that more and more of the newer individual rental homes and two-family condominiums and townhouses are now elevator equipped. We are experiencing some delays during the busy summer months with service and repairs to elevators that are not located in a commercial building. The commercial elevators found in larger condominiums tend to receive the fastest response to breakdowns. This is due in part to the Americans with Disabilities Act and the governmental regulations and time requirements put on repairs to commercial elevators and not on privately owned elevators. If you are renting a residential condominium or home with elevator, when breakdowns occur you can expect possible delays in repair of up to one week.
